The Pro Bono Project: A Trailblazer
The Pro Bono Project has been a trailblazer at times, as well as a role model for other organizations in the world of pro bono services. Their peers, financial supporters, and legal and community organizations have often recognized their work both locally and nationally.
The enormous and immediate response to the devastation of Hurricane Katrina by all of these groups serves as perhaps the greatest acknowledgment to the significant impact that The Project has had on the lives of many across the country.
Awards
This is a partial listing of the many recognitions and award received by The Pro Bono Project, and retired Executive Director, Rachel Piercey. In addition to what is noted here, dozens of our legal and lay volunteers have received both local and national awards acknowledging their volunteer service to The Pro Bono Project, its clients and the community.
