This year's stunning "Lady Justice" is painted by Lindsey Jenneman.
Each year, The Pro Bono Project commissions an artist to offer his or her creative and original portrayal of Lady Justice. Each year, an artist donates their time and talent to advance our mission. The artwork is featured on the invitation for The Project’s Annual Justice For All Ball and is auctioned off at the gala. Previous artists commissioned include Sharika Mahdi, Gustave Blache III, Amy Centola, Garland Robinette, Christy Boutte, and Terrance Osborne.
Lindsey is an artist hailing from the city of Mandeville, Louisiana. After a series of life changes, including relocating to North Carolina, and starting a family while her husband pursued his career in oncology; Lindsey found herself yearning for the unique spirit of her Louisiana roots. It was during this time that she fully embraced her passion for art and transitioned into a full-time artist.
Deeply inspired by her love for her home state and its rich culture, Lindsey pours her heart and soul into her artwork. She believes that Louisiana has a distinct aura that sets it apart from anywhere else—a place where people are unapologetically loud, and prioritize having a good time. It is this infectious energy that she strives to capture and embody in every piece she creates.
Through her art, Lindsey celebrates her heritage, embraces her newfound role as a mother, and embraces the beauty that surrounds her. She is a testament to the transformative power of following one's passions, even in the face of change and uncertainty.
We are thrilled to present Lindsey's "Lady Justice" for auction at the 35th Annual Justice For All Ball on September 22, 2023 at the Orpheum Theater. To attend this event, go to: https://one.bidpal.net/jfab/welcome.
