In commemoration of the 19th Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina on August 29th, we pay tribute to the many people who came to the aid of our region and The Pro Bono Project. Law schools from across the country made several trips in the years following Katrina, bringing dozens of aspiring lawyers and helping our community rebuild itself. Local and out of state law firms rose to the challenge. We salute all of the attorneys for their unwavering commitment to access to justice and Southeast Louisiana and for demonstrating to the highest degree possible that pro bono matters.
