New Orleans’ City Business honored their 2024 Leadership in Law inductees on October 7th at the New Orleans Museum of Art.

Congratulations to The Pro Bono Project's Executive Director, C.C. Kahr, for being selected. #PBP Board Chair Scott Sternberg was on hand at the New Orleans Museum of Art to celebrate.

Leadership in Law honors legal professionals in the New Orleans area in the following categories: court associated, educators, firm associated and in-house counsel. Honorees are selected based on industry achievements and community involvement.

Biz New Orleans recently interviewed Executive Director, C.C. Kahr, on the need for pro bono organizations like The Pro Bono Project.

“There is no right to counsel in this country for civil matters,” said C.C. Kahr, executive director of The Pro Bono Project, an organization that serves the Greater New Orleans area from its headquarters at 935 Gravier Street. “Individuals need help navigating their divorce, adopting a child, declaring bankruptcy or communicating with creditors, writing a will, opening a succession on their family home or challenging their insurance claim.”

Executive Director C.C. Kahr Honored as 2022 Women of the Year Recipient by City Business

On November 14th, The Pro Bono Project's Executive Director C.C. Kahr was honored as one of the 2022 Women of the Year recipients presented by New Orleans CityBusiness.

Women of the Year recognizes 50 women from the area whose successes in business and contributions to the community have made them movers and shakers in the region.

C.C. is incredibly proud to be recognized and included among such an amazing cohort of women leaders.
